Steven Wong’s love for photography began at age 17 during a high school art project. He experimented with various genres but soon focused on herpetofauna—reptiles and amphibians—his lifelong passion. Influenced by The Crocodile Hunter, Steven developed herping skills during his university years and has spent the last 13 years photographing frogs, lizards, and snakes.

Now a nature guide specializing in herping tours, he has led expeditions across Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, and Indonesia. His work has been exhibited at Nature Thru The Lens in Kuala Lumpur, and he shared his herping journey at a TEDx talk at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
