Fitting In Postcard
Spodiopsar cineraceus
The White-cheeked Starling is a very common urban bird in Japan. They’ve adapted well to the optimal habitats for Homo sapiens and are frequently seen perched on electric cables. As a matter of fact, they probably like big cities way more than I do. That one White-cheeked Starling hanging upside down must have been nature’s way of telling me to embrace my own uniqueness rather than conform to societal norms…or maybe it was just goofing around.
