This Little Tern is seen shaking off the water accumulated after an unsuccessful dive for fish. With a twist of its head, the tern creates a mesmerising trail of water droplets in the air. Careful positioning allowed me to achieve a backlit lighting condition that highlighted the tern and the water droplets.
