"In a lush grassy field, the sunset casts a warm glow over two Pin-tailed Whydahs. The male relentlessly chases the female, attempting to attract it with its long tail feathers. Despite the sunset giving the male a beautiful fiery, phoenix-like appearance, the female does not reciprocate. The furious pursuit won't last, as the male will lose its tail feathers towards the end of the mating season.

I am a big fan of backlit wildlife photography, so I positioned myself directly towards the sun, which lit up the wings and tail feathers of the birds! I also set my camera down to a low angle to achieve a foreground, adding more depth to the photo."
